Product Description

Heavy Duty Silicone Spray for Mold Release is Silicone based aerosol preparations and are available as several grades specifically for Injection Molding and Thermoplastic Industry. They are designed to improve release efficiency in many processes including compression, transfer, vacuum forming, pour casting, die casting and extrusion molding. These mold release sprays are compatible with ABS, Nylon, Polypropylene, PPO, Polystyrene, Polycarbonate, ABS, Acetyl, Polyester, Poly sulfone, Polyethylene and several Rubbers, Waxes, Resins & Metals.

Application

Heavy Duty Silicone Spray, Grade 8082 is designed for use as Mold Release Agent s for most injection molded plastics, metals, resins, waxes etc. They also rejuvenate rubber, plastic, synthetic leather and vinyl surfaces by hiding scratches and producing a high shine. They find use as a light Lubricant for metal and plastic substrates in several home, medical, food, industrial and automotive applications.

Storage & Handling Instructions

Precaution during storage and use

Contents are highly flammable. The cans should be kept away from sources of heat and ignition. Do not spray on flame or ignited materials. The Cans are pressurized and should not be punctured, incinerated or exposed to severe damage. This may cause the can to burst violently. Use in a well-ventilated area and avoid excessive inhalation, eye or skin contact. Keep away from children. Store in a cool, dry and ventilated place below 50°C. The Cans should be used with in eighteen months from date of mfg. Most Cans perform normally even after extended storage beyond the ‘best before date’ may affect the contents or the packaging components. Such can may be re-inspected and test run may be conducted to confirm acceptability.

Information on Disposal of used Cans

Aerosol Cans are designed for single use only and are hazardous even when apparently empty. The cans must be completely evacuated by pressing the valve so that negligible gas remains inside and then must be punctured to release the remaining gas vapor. This shall render the can to be non-hazardous and fit for disposal as per local environmental norms.
